Helping young Italian fashion designers get older and entrepreneurs

We have been monitoring the fashion brands in the international context and we have realized that in the last years the vast majority of "new entries" are not Italian fashion designers, despite the traditional and worldwide appeal of our Made in Italy and its appreciation in terms of style, quality and design.

We have also understood all the difficulties experienced by new designers in a global and highly competitive market. Their daily management is jeopardized by the mistrust of the production and distribution system towards young realities. Moreover, the access to adequate financial resources is very difficult. And finally, not always fashion competitions and awards are sufficient to ensure a long lasting success.

All these are difficulties that can be justified if such a strong creativity does not correspond to adequate managerial competences able to face this tough market.

So, why to underestimate or, worst, waste such an interesting creative powerhouse?

F-DESIGNER project wants to play in this context. Trusting young Italian talents, we want to offer them the serious opportunity they deserve in order to fully exploit their creative potential and really compete in the international market by strongly supporting them from a managerial, operational and financial point of view.

F-DESIGNER's goals are:

• Create a team of Italian young designers, each of them as a perfect union of authenticity, expertise, and entrepreneurial spirit. They should be expression of extraordinary creativity, and exemplify the Italian lifestyle in an innovative and contemporary way but always paying respect to the Italian tradition and excellence as worldwide renown symbols of our "Made In Italy".
• Train our young designers and drive them in their entrepreneurial path, offering Know how and contacts in the industry, managerial competences and financial resources, until they are ready to move alone and run their own business by themselves.
• Be a reference hub among all the stakeholders of the pipeline, involving them as partners in an efficient and conscious way so as to share our mission to support young talents, respect and promote the excellence of Made in Italy and gain the trust of modern, smart and aware customers.
